Peter the Pirate, Yarrr!

The episode starts off at a local vet.  Brian is suffering a stomach problem.  While waiting for the treatment from the pet doctor, Peter complains about the weird things that the animals do there.  There he makes a new friend which is a talking parrot.  Peter thinks that the parrot is having a conversation with him but actually the parrot just repeats what he says.  Thinking that they are friends, Peter kidnaps the parrot from its owner and replaces it with a puppy with a hat and mustaches.

From here the adventure of Peter and his new parrot begins.  Peter’s pals tell him that he looks like a pirate with the parrot on his shoulder.  Peter gets an idea and becomes the pirates.  He has some fishing friends to be pirates with him.  Then, they attack a British driver on the road.  The funny scene recaptures the event of a generic pirate attacks that we see on the telly.

The next part is about Chris’s love attempt.  He is nervous about it because it is his first time.  The girl who works as the vet assistant advises him to relax.  They actually have a good start in the relationship but Peter suggests to Chris that he should be ruder towards women.  That will make him more cool looking.  Unfortunately, Chris should not have listened to his dad.  The relationship ends horribly when they are about to watch some movies.  Chris tries to win her back by telling her the truth.  After using an injured Brian to start the conversation, those two are back together.

Brian has a son!

After a long wait – once again, the television sitcom is back with a new episode.  This time around, we learn that Brian actually has a son.   At first, Brian is looking for a new love.  He meets with a pretty lady who thinks magicians are hot.  Due to that, Brian pretends to be a professional magician.  With the help from Stewie, they put up a magic show at a birthday party.  Unfortunately, Brian discovers that the lady already has a boyfriend.

Because of that incident, Brian decides to find love in the past.  He decides to pay a surprise visit to his ex-girlfriend.  However, it is his ex that has a surprise for him!  She, who has let herself go, announces to Brian that both of them have a son.  She introduces his 13 year old son named, Dylan. Hence, the adventure between the father and out of controlled son begins. Brian takes a lot of effort to change his son into a better man.  In the end, the effort pays off but Dylan realizes that he has a duty to take care of his mother. 

In this episode, there are a lot of funny short jokes and cultural references.  I like the scene when Dorothy says farewell to her pals before she leaves for home.  Plus, the Mexican funeral scene is funny too.  Another time paradox in the series is about Brian’s age and his son’s age.  Brian mentions that a dog year is different from human year and fails to explain further. 

Brain’s infatuation gets the best of him!

Yay, there is a new Family Guy episode. I am excited. After watching this episode, I am quite happy with it. The story in this episode revolves around the relationship between Brian and Lois. Although, in the beginning, it is about Peter’s lack of love towards Lois. Brian, who gets invited to attend an award ceremony at Martha ’s Vineyard for his winning essay, persuades Lois and Peter to tag along. They are reluctant. However, when Chris comes in and announces that he is learning to play drum in the house, both couple decides to go for the trip.

Unfortunately, even the trip cannot save the couple’’s relationship. Peter and Lois face the same problem. Peter’s negligence of Lois gives Brian the opportunity that he has been waiting for his whole dog life. He wants to express his feelings to Lois once more. After having a great time together, Brian confesses his feelings towards Lois. But, he overdoes it. Lois gets disappointed for his wild actions and asks him to leave her alone. She tells Peter the next morning about the incident. Peter, on the other hand, gets married to Nathan Lane. It is funny that Lois does care much about it. Peter confronts Brian at the bar and talk about it. Then, the talk ends up in a fight. Shazam here, Shazam there; they get back together as pals after a bloody brawl.

While the parents are away, Meg, Chris and Stewie are taken care by Herbert. If you know Herbert, you know that Christ should not be around him. Well, the episode is nice to watch basically. I love the Massachusetts musical scenes and the jokes are pretty dang funny.
