The culprits unraveled!

In the beginning of this chapter, we are introduced to young Nanao.  She has a very close resemblance of Lisa. Captain Shunsui jokes that he can remember all of the female members’ names in his division.  Nanao is supposed to do he monthly reading in front of her captain and vice captain but apparently, she has to wait a bit longer until Lisa returns.

The investigation team is in big trouble now.   Hollow Kensei and hollow Mashiro are tough nuts to crack.  Hachi has to use his ultimate kido to stop hollow Kensei from terrorizing his fellow shinigamis.  To make matter worse,  Hiyori has turned into a hollow!  Lisa and Rose are injured and so is Love.  Later, Shinji is injured because of hollow Hiyori.  Funny, how come none of them release their shikai yet?  Don’t tell me the author is saving it for later? Come on….

The outcome looks bleak for the team.  The biggest news is that Aizen, Gin and Tousen appear in this chapter.  Surprisingly, Tousen can use his Bankai already!  Besides that, he is one of the members from Kensei’s division.  I am so glad that our villains appear as a team.  The fun is just going to get better.

Will there be chapter -99? Are we going back to the present where the battles at Karakura Town are commencing?  Will Ichigo able to save Orihime once again?  We all just have to wait and see next week!

Kensei is not Kensei anymore!

The investigation team consists of Rose, Love, Shinji, Risa and Haichi comes to the rescue. From the previous chapter, Hiyori was saved by Shinji just in the nick of time. Rose, Love and Lisa are shocked at the transformation of their comrade Kensei. Even Kensei’s reiatsu is hollow-ish.

Without further ado, Kensei swiftly attacks Love. The hollowed Kensei is very quick and Love can barely defend himself. Nevertheless, Love is impressed by Kensei’s strength. Hiyori is worried about stopping Kensei. Shinji advises the rest to be on guard and release their swords to protect themselves. If not, they will be killed by Kensei.

Rose and Lisa have a plan to stop Kensei without killing him. They will cut out Kensei’s tendons. As they are about to do this, a hollow Mashiro appears to attack Rose from behind. Rose is unable to avoid it and is kicked on the head and he falls to the ground. Mashiro, then, attacks Shinji but Mashiro is stopped by Hachigen’s Five Pillars / Gochu Tekkan kido.

Hachi complains that the team moves too fast for him to catch up. And it is a good thing that he manages to come just in time. Next, Hachi targets hollow Kensei and bind him together. However, in just a few seconds, Kensei breaks the bind spell. Hachi is amazed because he has never seen anyone able to do such feat using physical strength alone.

Meanwhile, at the 12^th division department, Urahara tries to sneak out to rescue Hiyori. He wears a cloak that can hide his reiatsu. Unfortunately for him, Tessai catches him in the act. Tessai says that he could predict Urahara’s plan because he knew him since they were living at Yoruichi’s family mansion.

Marriage takes work no matter how long you have been in it.

In this episode, Francine is immune to all of Stan’s jokes.  It is because she has been hearing it for so many times. She does not find it amusing anymore. Stan, feeling unappreciated, cannot accept that he is not funny anymore.  Francine also has things to do with he parents.  So, she leaves him behind for a while to help her dad with de-gassing.

With the mother of the house not around, Roger sees the opportunity to organize a Spring Break party at the house.  The party is attended by mainly college students.  Stan, who opposes the party, changes his mind as one of the Spring Breaker keeps on praising him.  Meanwhile, Steve is on a mission to lose his virginity to Carmen Selectra.  When Francine returns home, Stan and his wife argues about their marriage and Stan runs off to look for his Spring Break partner.  Francine, realizing that she should cut him some slack, tries to win Stan back.
